Due Diligence
Our Due Diligence Framework
Trust is not assumed. It is verified.
Our due-diligence approach is designed to help us understand our suppliers, customers and business partners and identify potential risks before entering into commercial relationships.
Know Your Counterparty
We seek to establish:
- Legal identity
- Business registration
- Beneficial ownership
- Physical and operational presence
- Source of minerals
- Relevant licences and permits
- Sanctions and adverse-media considerations
- Relevant transaction documentation
Risk-Based Assessment
Business relationships may be assessed according to their level of risk.
Where elevated risks are identified, additional information, verification or enhanced due diligence may be required before a relationship or transaction proceeds.
Ongoing Monitoring
Due diligence is not a one-time exercise.
We seek to maintain appropriate monitoring and documentation throughout our business relationships and may conduct additional reviews where circumstances or risk profiles change.
